Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsed front-runner Donald Trump on Sunday, two days before the New Hampshire primary.
“If there was everything I could do to make a favorable end result — more campaign stops, much more interviews — I would do it, but I won’t be able to inquire our supporters to volunteer their time and donate their means if we don’t have a crystal clear path to victory,” DeSantis explained in a Sunday social media write-up. “Appropriately, I am right now suspending my campaign.”
