Europe’s major courtroom on Thursday sided with Amazon in a case in which the U.S. e-commerce big was accused by the European Fee of illegal tax gains.

The European Courtroom of Justice (ECJ) reported that the Commission, the EU’s govt arm, had “not proven” that a tax settlement among Amazon and Luxembourg was “a condition assist that was incompatible with the internal industry.”

“We welcome the Court’s ruling, which confirms that Amazon adopted all relevant rules and received no exclusive remedy,” Amazon claimed in a statement on Thursday.
