The White Residence on Friday lashed out at Elon Musk for endorsing “Antisemitic and racist hate” soon after the Tesla CEO and X Corp. operator said he agreed with a social media post accusing “Jewish communities” of pushing “hatred in opposition to whites.”

Musk, responding on X, claimed that that publish “mentioned the actual reality.”

White Home spokesman Andrew Bates mentioned it was “unacceptable to repeat the hideous lie guiding the most fatal act of Antisemitism in American history at any time.”

“We condemn this abhorrent promotion of Antisemitic and racist loathe in the strongest phrases, which runs versus our core values as Us residents,” Bates mentioned.

The White House’s statement observed the proximity of Musk’s write-up to the deadly attacks in Israel by Hamas on Oct. 7, which it described as “the deadliest working day for the Jewish people because the Holocaust.”

“We all have a duty to carry individuals with each other towards hate, and an obligation to converse out towards anybody who assaults the dignity of their fellow Us residents and compromises the protection of our communities,” Bates mentioned.

Spokespeople for Tesla and X did not right away respond to CNBC’s requests for comment on the White House’s assertion.

Musk on Wednesday responded to a article declaring Jewish communities “have been pushing the actual variety of dialectical hatred towards whites that they claim to want people to quit applying versus them.”

Musk, who has the most common account on X, replied: “You have explained the genuine truth of the matter.”
