Crypto business Ripple will get in-principle payments license in Singapore

Ripple claimed it obtained in-principle acceptance of a Important Payment Institution Licence from the Financial Authority of Singapore, the country’s central financial institution.
The license enables Ripple to supply controlled electronic payment token products and solutions and solutions and extend customers’ use of XRP, a cryptocurrency it is closely linked with.
It will come as Ripple continues to spar with the Securities and Trade Commission in excess of a lawsuit.
