Sonos lays off 7%, or about 130 employees

Wireless speaker company Sonos said it would lay off about 7% of its workforce, or approximately 130 workforce, in a Wednesday submitting.

Shares have been fairly flat in premarket buying and selling.

“In the face of continued headwinds we have experienced to make some tough selections, such as reducing some positions and reevaluating system spend,” Sonos CEO Patrick Spence mentioned.

The business used 1,844 persons as of October 2022, when Sonos previous disclosed its headcount. The corporation expects to incur $11 million to $14 million in restructuring fees, which include things like the charge of severance but also fees involved with streamlining its authentic estate portfolio and fees.
