No rates will be submitted from previous Vice President Mike Pence in the Section of Justice investigation of categorized documents uncovered at his Indiana home, CNBC verified Friday.

The Justice Department’s countrywide security division instructed Pence’s legal professional in a letter that it was closing its probe and that it would not file rates centered on the “results” of its investigation, NBC Information claimed before Friday early morning. A DOJ official, who declined to be named, verified to CNBC the authenticity of the letter, which was sent Thursday.

Pence’s law firm and spokesman did not immediately react to CNBC’s requests for remark.

The probe’s conclusion arrives a lot less than a week ahead of Pence is reportedly set to announce he is managing for president.
