WILMINGTON, Del. — Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit from Fox News has been delayed on the eve of its scheduled commence day, an formal for the court explained Sunday.

The conclusion of the jury range process and the start of opening statements, which have been set for Monday morning, have been pushed to Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. ET, according to a statement from Delaware Exceptional Courtroom.

Spokespeople for Fox and Dominion did not right away present statements when requested for comment right after the hold off was announced Sunday night.

Dominion, which sells voting devices and election program, claimed it was defamed by Fox Corp. and its cable Television networks following Fox aired phony claims that the organization had rigged the 2020 election against previous President Donald Trump.
