China’s Xi to go to Russia upcoming week for his 1st check out because Putin ordered invasion of Ukraine

BEIJING — Chinese President Xi Jinping is set to pay a visit to Russia from March 20 to 22, China’s Ministry of Overseas Affairs declared Friday.

This is Xi’s first stop by to Russia since the invasion of Ukraine in late February very last year.

The two leaders last fulfilled in Samarkand, Uzbekistan in September.

The ministry reported the check out was at Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ask for. It did not specify no matter if Putin would meet up with with Xi.

The two leaders are predicted to go over further more Sino-Russian cooperation, the Kremlin mentioned incorporating that “crucial bilateral documents will be signed.”
