Rivian and Amazon are in discussions to change the exclusivity clause of their agreement for the EV maker’s electric supply vans, a firm spokeswoman explained Monday.

Removing the exclusivity piece of the settlement would allow for Rivian to court new clients as it operates to ramp generation of the vans and its R1 collection pickup and SUV. The corporation is also operating on a forthcoming R2 model and is in have to have of hard cash.
