JPMorgan Chase sued its previous financial commitment banking chief Jes Staley around his ties to disgraced previous financier Jeffrey Epstein, alleging Staley is to blame for any legal fallout from a pair of lawsuits towards the lender.
The corporation on Wednesday filed a fit towards Staley that sought to claw back again his final 8 several years of spend at JPMorgan and make him liable for likely payouts in lawsuits faced by the New York-based financial institution.
As stress on the lender enhanced, JPMorgan went from defending its previous government in latest months to shifting the blame for any Epstein fallout to him.
