Tesla will make a new plant in Monterrey, Mexico, and adhere to a collection of commitments to handle drinking water shortage, the nation’s president introduced at a press conference Tuesday.

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, or AMLO, as he is identified, claimed Tesla agreed to use recycled drinking water at the plant all over the full car or truck producing system, even down to the cars’ paint.
