Royal Mail’s export expert services disrupted just after ‘cyber incident’

Britain’s Royal Mail said on Wednesday it was going through critical disruption to its intercontinental export providers subsequent what it described as “a cyber incident”.

“We are briefly unable to despatch merchandise to abroad locations,” Royal Mail, a person of the world’s premier article and parcel firms, explained in a provider update on its internet site.

It advised consumers to briefly hold any export mail products even though it works to resolve the issue.

The enterprise, section of Intercontinental Distributions Products and services Plc, mentioned it was working with external experts to examine the incident and experienced also reported it to regulators and security authorities.

Royal Mail reported its import expert services remained operational, albeit with small delays.
