Tesla’s Chinese suppliers jumped right after the electric powered automaker slashed selling prices for some versions in China.

In a Weibo publish, the company claimed its Design 3 and Model Y automobiles in China would now be priced at 229,900 yuan (about $33,374) and 259,900 yuan, respectively.

The most up-to-date price ranges signify a fall of 13% to 24% from 4 months ago, according to Reuters calculations.

Shenzhen-stated shares of Tesla’s Chinese suppliers rallied on optimism the selling price slash could strengthen need.

Shares of Anhui Shiny Digital Technological know-how closed 8.8% larger and Hengdian Team DMEGC Magnetics acquired almost 9%. Zhejiang Chint Electrics shut 7.92% greater and Shandong Jinjing Science & Tech rose much more than 6%.
