Japan’s Meteorology Company was monitoring for the risk of a tsunami right after a volcano erupted in Indonesia on Sunday, community broad caster NHK documented.
A tsunami from the eruption, which happened all around 11:18 a.m. Japan time (0218 GMT), could arrive at Okinawa Prefecture as early as 0530 GMT, NHK quoted the company as stating.
