Kyiv’s central district rocked by blasts for the second time in 7 days

The central Shevchenkivskyi district of Ukraine’s cash was rocked by blasts early on Monday for the second time in a week, with Mayor Vitalii Klitshchko indicating various residential buildings were being damaged.

“Rescuers are on the internet site,” Klitshchko claimed on the Telegram messaging support, adding that as a final result of what he mentioned was a drone assault, a fireplace also broke out in a non-household creating.

There was no rapid information on casualties.

Shevchenkivskiy district, a chaotic hub with universities, college student bars and dining establishments, was hit by many explosions on Monday past week when Russia requested the largest aerial offensive against Ukrainian towns in retaliation for a blast on a bridge linking mainland Russia to Crimea. 

Andriy Yermak, head of the Ukrainian president’s team, mentioned the attacks have been carried out with so-referred to as suicide drones.

“Russians consider this will assistance them, but this kind of steps are just their convulsions,” Yermak reported on the Telegram messaging application.

Russia receives first shipment of Iranian drones

Ukraine has documented a spate of Russian attacks with Iranian-made Shahed-136 drones in latest months.

Iran denies giving the drones to Russia, though the Kremlin has not commented.

Russia denies focusing on civilians in what it phone calls its “special navy procedure” in Ukraine.
