View dwell: Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin interviewed at CNBC’s Offering Alpha conference

Virginia Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin sits down with CNBC Senior Congressional Correspondent Ylan Mui at CNBC’s Providing Alpha convention Wednesday.

Youngkin earlier was the co-chief govt officer of The Carlyle Group, just one of the world’s most influential non-public equity corporations, in which he labored for 25 yrs right before retiring. As governor, Youngkin has declared Virginia “open up for business enterprise” and sought to attract firms to the point out, but has also faced backlash for his controversial culture-war stances.

Virginia is ranked third in CNBC’s America’s Leading States for Small business in 2022 just after holding the leading place for the preceding two consecutive years.
