Europe’s Airbus has revoked a contract for a fourth A350 ordered by Qatar Airways in an ongoing dispute over damage to the painted surface of the long-haul jets, three people familiar with the matter said.

A fifth aircraft is due to reach the same point in the production and delivery pipeline by the end of July, they said.

Airbus and Qatar Airways declined to comment.
