Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the only Republican woman at any time to be nominated for vice president, was defeated in her political comeback bid to depict the state in the U.S. Household of Representatives, NBC Information projected Wednesday evening.

Palin’s decline to Rep. Mary Peltola, a Democrat, was her 2nd defeat in an election for Alaska’s at-large Home seat in considerably less than a few months.
